I have been doing some reading on natural treatments for psoriasis from other sources (i.e. books and websites). There is a lot of conflicting information.
Some books and website discourage eating of citrus fruits (lemons, limes), whereas its okay on this website.
Cod liver oil is recommended on this website but some books recommend taking omega 3 and omega 6 supplements because to get the same amount of fatty acids require to clear up your psoriasis with cod oil, you could overdose yourself on vitamin D.
My point is consult a physician if you are not entirely sure. Everyone is reacts differently. You might have to experiment what works and what doesn't for you.

Makes it hard, doesn't it ?? As much as I've searched & read, to me, the most logical answer to this quandry is: Our genetic make up is as diverse as our personalities, the cumulative effects of our own life-lifestyle are likewise diverse ~ these factors alone are going to affect the outcomes as we work through what is going to work for our own situation.
For myself, I've had to cut out almost all lime and lemon, though a little orange & grapefruit can be tolerated. I used to have a few drops of lemon or lime anytime I had a drink of water ( like the taste better) after quitting, the P behind my ears & back of my neck has cleared almost completely.
I know the Vitamin D issue goes in and out of focus from time to time, my personal preference is to go with the non-mainstream approach [http://www.vitamindcouncil.org/vitaminDToxicity.shtml] provides an interesting article & information.
and as Yol1230 says some doctors will not entertain the idea that diet is a factor ~ it's just stress.................
Good work !
